Job Description:

We are strengthening our team in the area of Performance Controlling at the Saarbrücken location.

The team:
As part of the Performance Controlling team, you will play a key role in shaping the Sales Controlling department (sales, turnover, prices). You will work closely with the areas of controlling, sales, logistics and financial accounting. As a process expert, you will be responsible for further developing and optimizing controlling tools and processes as well as driving their digitization and automation.
What you can expect as a controller (m/f/d) with a focus on processes and digitalization:

- Independent implementation of comprehensive variance analyses and research
- Participation in the preparation of forecasts, forecasts, planning, reporting as well as monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in the area of sales controlling (sales, turnover, prices).
- Execution of your tasks in close coordination with the departments involved, in particular controlling, sales, logistics and financial accounting
- Systemic support of all controlling processes at the site, including the development of new tools and reports as well as the further development, optimization and digitization/automation of existing tools, as well as the maintenance of master data
- Management of controlling projects and representation of the controlling department in interdisciplinary projects, if necessary also beyond the assigned areas of responsibility. In doing so, you will work closely with IT and process experts from other departments and locations within the organization
- Independent support of assigned areas of responsibility in all aspects of controlling, such as cost and budget planning, forecasts, forecasts, regular reporting, variance analyses, execution of project-related profitability calculations according to financial and business objectives, identification and evaluation of optimization potentials as well as the definition of suitable measures and ongoing success monitoring.
- Support of the management through meaningful reporting as well as permanent further development of the key figures and controlling instruments used

 
What we expect from you as a controller (m/f/d) with a focus on processes and digitalization:

- Successfully completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics or comparable training with appropriate knowledge and experience
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in an industrial manufacturing company, if possible including the independent processing and management of projects
- Sound knowledge of the business-relevant modules of SAP ERP/ S4
- Enjoyment of process design, affinity for IT systems and interest in topics such as digitization and automation of processes through the use of innovative IT solutions (e.g. SAP Cloud Analytics, Data Mining, AI)
Ability to work in a team, creativity, independence and commitment as well as assertiveness and strong communication skills
- Fluent German and good English skills
