These exciting tasks await you:

As a Pre-Development Engineer, you will design the material and product solutions of tomorrow and make a significant contribution to the competitiveness of REHAU Industrial Solutions with innovative material concepts. In concrete terms, this means:

- You will analyze market, material and technology trends, evaluate new materials and identify innovative approaches for the further development of our product portfolio.
- You will develop, optimize and standardize PVC and non-PVC formulations and establish sustainable material standards for our international production plants.
- You will develop innovative material, product and technology concepts and lead pre-development projects for new materials, product solutions and applications.
- You will accompany the qualification of new raw materials, technologies and external partners and ensure their successful implementation.
- You will take responsibility for material compliance issues and ensure the regulatory conformity of new materials.
- You will support our international production plants in material technology issues along the entire value chain, from raw materials to compounds to the finished product, working closely with purchasing and suppliers and deriving measures for the sustainable improvement of product and process quality.

This is what you bring to the position:

- You have completed a degree in plastics or materials technology or a comparable technician training with corresponding professional experience.
- You have experience in the development and optimization of plastic formulations and are enthusiastic about materials, technology and product development.
- You work analytically, in a structured and solution-oriented manner and impress with team spirit, strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
- You are open to new technologies and innovative solutions and are willing to travel within the EMEA region (approx. 20-30%).
- You communicate confidently in German and English.
